In 2022 I was asked by The Line to do some early blue sky style explorations for the LoL World Championships announcement video. It had to be simple enough to be potentially animatable but also have something to it beyond classic cel shading. The drawings are based on real LoL pros and I used each drawing as an opportunity to also explore the stylisation of their likeness, their fashion and attitude.
